East Med Yacht Show Piraeus, Greece 2019
November, 30 -1
The East Med Yacht Show is the ultimate event in the Greek yachting calendar, involving many of the services connected to the luxury yachting industry.
Previously known as the Poros Yacht Charter Show, the East Med Yacht Show relocated from the island of Poros to the new location of Marina Zea in Piraeus, Greece, in 2016. The move proved to be a success and the Greek port city, situated not far from Athens, is now the show's permanent base.
Organised by the Hellenic Yacht Brokers Association (HYBA) and the Hellenic Professional Yacht Owners Association (HPYOA) - the two key associations of the Hellenic Yachting Industry - the East Med Yacht Show promises to showcase some of the finest crewed charter yachts available in the Mediterranean.
Charter brokers and other industry professionals are invited to marvel at the motor yachts, sailing yachts and catamarans in attendance. This provides show-goers the chance to inspect the yachts and meet with the captains and crews, ensuring they are better equipped to help match their clients with their dream charter yacht for the upcoming cruising season.
The annual show aims to promote quality sea tourism, upgrade services offered by pleasure boats, improve Greece’s position on the global tourism market, establish Piraeus as a tourist destination, foster partnerships with foreign institutions and expand cooperation with other Greek stakeholders active in tourism.
