Monaco Yacht Show 2019
November, 30 -1
The Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) is one of the most prestigious yachting events in the world with more than 125 superyachts and nearly 600 companies exhibiting each year.
Held annually towards the end of September, MYS is the most anticipated event in the superyacht industry calendar, providing world-leading yacht builders, designers, luxury manufacturers, and esteemed brokerage houses the opportunity to network with important clientele and prospective customers.
Running for more than 25 years, the show is the ideal occasion to view and compare more than 120 custom superyachts in one place. Stretching across the iconic Port Hercules in the heart of Monaco, the four-day event typically hosts around 45 new yacht launches, with room to accommodate yachts of over 100 metres LOA.
Also gracing the scene each year are more than 500 exhibitors, including marine services, nautical suppliers, shipyards, and interior designers, as well as various other producers of yachting goods. Usefully, MYS encompasses a strict selection of exhibiting companies to ensure all products on display are current and of the highest quality.
In 2017, a brand new exhibition space dedicated to the superyachting lifestyle known as Starboard was introduced, alongside a brand new exhibition area devoted entirely to the trendiest luxury tenders and water toys on the market. There was also an inaugural opening ceremony, which included the presentation of the Monaco Yacht Show Awards.
In 2018, the layout of the Monaco Yacht Show was changed in order to meet the demand for even more yachts and exhibitors. In response to the new look Quai des Etats-Unis, the jetty became dedicated to brokerage houses and the yachts they each represent. Enhancing the overall visitor experience, this revised layout ultimately allows those in attendance to view and compare the large range of vessels and products on offer.
The free bus and boat shuttles, and golf cart network make getting around the show hassle-free, and there is the option to be chauffeured in a branded courtesy car for multipass badge holders. Future superyacht owners and charterers can also take advantage of the VIP Sapphire Experience that has been designed to heighten the overall journey for those attending the superyachting capital for the most anticipated show in the calendar.
